I have just completed eating this. Clearly there has been a couple of actions among this photo and the beer can chicken currently being within my belly. Namely: an hour on the barbeque the preperation of some capsicums stuffed with wild rice, sultanas and buffalo cheese by the lovely Venice and Will the barbequing of some corn and asparagus and then a extremely fulfilling meal.
For individuals that are not conscious of the wonderful that is Beer Can Chicken, the simple recipe is get your hands on a fresh chicken (gutted and plucked of course). Get a can of beer (I have heard cola also performs well and will be experimenting with this quickly). Drink half the can, punch a handful of extra holes in the best. Rub your chicken with an assortment of yummy spices and olive oil to taste (use what ever spices you like!) then stand the chicken upright ontop of the can. You can then place this on a barbeque, in the oven or even on a grill.
We did it on the barbeque with the hood down for the most portion. Apart from a few moments when unwanted fat from the chicken caught fire (simply fixed by moving it to the solid plate on the BBQ) the total factor was very effortless to put together and cook. The result was scrumptious and almost certainly the most tender juicy chicken I’ve ever eaten.
