Some awesome recipe photographs:
Dave Fowler’s Chili recipe
Dave Fowler was a speak show host in the 1980’s in Houston. He had a quite good recipe for chili. I manufactured it after and appreciated it, but lost the recipe until this weekend… when it turned up at my parent’s house. I scanned it for sharing.

This is a scan of my mom-in-law’s recipe card for Banana Nut Bread.
You can not see it in the scan, but the recipe ends on the back of the card with: "cover pan. Bake @ 350 f for 1 hr"
This recipe was a favourite treat of my husband’s, growing up in Oklahoma.
My MIL writes all her recipes on index cards and files them in an old Campbell’s Soup tin. She knew how a lot my husband loved this recipe and sent it to us in New Zealand. It has because become a favourite of our household, neighbours and friends.
At Christmas time, we bake a couple of further loaves and give them as presents or consider them along to neighbourhood get togethers.
What I enjoy greatest about this recipe is that it gives me a minor peek into my husband’s childhood and represents great times and satisfied memories. Plus it’s delicious cold with butter or hot with ice-cream!
